Tecumseh Growth and Development Authority

The City of Tecumseh offers excellent potential as an area for enhancing quality of life, nourishing business development and stimulating commercial opportunities that will encourage commercial and residential growth and new development.

TGDA Board members are faced with task of acquisition and redevelopment of commercial real estate in order to redevelop deteriorated and undeveloped properties to provide retail services to the community.

November 2003 The City of Tecumseh TGDA Board established the Tax Increment District (TIF). This district's transactions are overseen by the City Manager and TGDA.
